nedgar Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Hello all. Total neophyte here. I bought an Intel 2.66 Core2Duo and an Asus P5KPL-CM mother board. I spent five days and nights of frustration. Onboard ethernet not working, onboard sound not working, onboard video not working, kernel panics, etc. So, I'm returning the mobo tomorrow and getting something else. Could someone please recommend a motherboard that is available at Microcenter (I have $50 credit there) that would cause fewer headaches?
