callmeachiever
Is it possible to dual boot XP and iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Final when each OS is installed on a different drive? My IBM Intellistation has XP setup on drive C: and I'm wanting to install iPC on the machine's second, unused drive (D:) by following the iPC install guide found here. Any helpful information is appreciated. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/185162-dual-booting-windows-xp-ipc-with-two-hard-drives/ Share on other sites
srs5694
Yes, it's possible. I've got a system with Windows XP on one disk, Windows Vista on another, and an installation of OS X on each. (One is an emergency/backup/test installation.) I've also got Linux and FreeDOS on this system. I use GRUB as my primary boot loader, with PC-EFI (v9, IIRC) as the secondary boot loader to load OS X. IIRC, I had to copy my PC-EFI boot0 boot loader to my Linux system and redirect the GRUB configuration through this file to get it to work. (That system is currently shut down, so I can't check the details right now.) Sorry for not being more specific about how to do it, but at least you know it's possible.
