savestheday
Hi all, I'm having issues with my onboard ALC1200 sound on my Asus P5N7A-VM mobo. I can't pass DTS through it. I'm wondering if any of you had a recommendation on a good PCI-E (looking to avoid USB) that has optical out (dts passthrough) and decent driver support on OS X/hackintosh. I think the Creative X-FI is a good choice and from what I've read, it would work with VoodooHDA.kext....would this card be ideal? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16829102024 Also, regarding VoodooHDA, I've read that I should remove any HDAEnabler's. Problem is, I use a customized DSDT that I got from the P5N7A-VM thread and I don't know how to remove the HDAEnabling properties of it. Any advice on that? Thanks in advance!
