Yellowtang
Hi, after looking through the forum I saw many people managed to run SL on Gigabyte P35 boards. I am wondering if the procedure could work on MSI based boards like the Neo2-FR , or platinum series, since there are DSDt patched bioses readily available and 10.5 is running great on these boards. Anyone managed to install Snow Leopard on MSI p35s?
maukku
I got snow installed on my P35-NeoFI. Works good, but you have to use this kext to get your harddrive detected. Lan works out of the box, and onboard sound should be working also with right kext ( I havent had time for searching them yet ). Only problem is that I have had some random kernel panics, but I don't know if it's hardware or software related.
full moon
my board is msi p35 neo2-fr . it's work good. i update it's bios to newest 1B4 version to fix dvd device problem. because of my ati vedio card. i cant using snow leopard right now.so i have no more info about it. you maybe need patched dsdt, and using Legacy sound kext to make board sound card alc888 work fine by Apple Original Driver.
