obi_wan_cannoli
I have this old desktop I'm trying to set up as a hackintosh. It's totally stock, the specs are here. http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/5293/5293cl2.shtml I used iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF6 Final v1.1 I get it to install, but on the first boot, when I need to choose -v-f to run the kexts, (according to the tutorial at http://tgrounds.blogspot.com/2009/04/leopa...on-your-pc.html ) It just boots into the apple logo with the turning thing (the grey and white page) and starts the install process again! So it says it installed, but it seems like it didn't. Please help me out, no idea what I'm doing wrong here. Thanks so much in advance. obi_wan_cannoli
Hey, I know this is probably getting annoying haha, but I could really really use some help here. If I can get Mac OSX running successfully on this machine and can test it, there is a good chance I'll build a dekstop for a hackintosh and get a laptop to hackintosh-ify and get rid of my macbook. Thanks SO much in advance to anyone who can lend a hand. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/184550-gateway-834gm/#findComment-1254405 Share on other sites
