Very strange boot issues

Hey there,

I recentley insalled OSx86 onto my new build (specs are below).

 

I followed weaksauces guide to install retail 10.5.6 using his boot disc, the install went fine, but I have a few strange issues when booting the pc.

 

1) Sometimes (I think its when I dont shut down properly) I get still waiting for root device, this only happens occasionly

 

2) When I boot in to mac, shut down then go into windows I get crappy screen res, I have to switch manually (happens sometimes).

 

3) I have tried flashing the bios to a different version but sometimes my bios gets stuck on the boot screen and doesent do anything.

 

I think these problems are all related and have something to do with the bios.

Please help me!

2 x Western Digital 500GB hard disk drive Caviar SE16 SATA II 300 7200rpm 16MB.
