FreeStyLeMaSTeR
Hi, this is my first post here. First of all, I want to thank everyone here helping with so many things. I succesfully installed and boot iAtkos V7 on my HP Pavilion DV4-T 1300 notebook and updated it to 10.5.8. Except Sleep and Cardreader, everything works just like a real Mac, full Quartz Extreme and GL on NVidia G 105m , webcam, sound (even touch sensitive sound slider works) and everything works just fine. I just wanted to know why I don't see the speedstep menu bar to select the frequency manually like I used to see on my Acer aspire one with iAtkos v4? Does anyone have any idea? Speedstep works though I checked it with CPU-X app and the freq changes on use but I would like to be able to control it. And also, I would appreciate any help on enabling sleep on my stystem. Thanks alot in advance... Joe_M
no one? hi there.. Well firstly am sorry I am replying to help you, instead i am seeking help here myself ! You mentioned that you could install "iAtkos v71" successfully on your "HP DV4". Well I have an almost similar machine HP-DV4 1105em. I just downloaded it from TPB (pirate Bay). Could you please tell me how did you go about installing it.... i mean...What sort of Drivers, Kexts, etc.. My Specs are : - HP DV4-1105em - Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2.0 Ghz - 4 GB RAM - nVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS - Sound : IDT High Definition - Wirelss Wifi Link 5100 - Realtek RTL 8168C (p)/8111(p) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) - HP Webcam Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/184407-no-speedstep-menubar-and-no-sleep-iatkos-v7-on-hp-pavilion-dv4-t-1300us-notebook/#findComment-1254939 Share on other sites
FreeStyLeMaSTeR
My Specs are : - HP DV4-1105em - Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2.0 Ghz - 4 GB RAM - nVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS - Sound : IDT High Definition - Wirelss Wifi Link 5100 - Realtek RTL 8168C (p)/8111(p) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) - HP Webcam Sure, I'd be glad to help if I can. I can't remember exactly what I chosed but here's what I think I chosed; Iatkos main system: CHECKED Bootloader: Chameleon 2: Extra folder: CHECKED Decrypters: SELECT the first One DISABLER: CHECKED REMOVE TyMCE KEXT: CHECKED VGA DRIVERS: CHECK NVenabler and the second Gt200 driver in the list (I think it was something like GT200 With ''something'', choose that one ) SPEEDSTEP: CHOOSE the first one only SOUND: DO NOT select anything here, even if it is selected, just uncheck it PS2 mouse/keyboard: CHECK Appleps2 driver NTFS-3G: CHECKED NETWORK: I am not sure about your wireless ot ethernet card since they are different then mine. So, I suggest you try the most appropriate one and see yourself POST INSTALL ACTIONS CHECKED These are the ones I remember I selected to make it work. But remember you need to select the ones I listed only and all the rest I mean everything else should be unchecked. Even, if they are checked, you need to unselect them. Also one thing that really pissed me is the IDT sound card driver, I could not get it to work but after many hours I finally found the right driver for it. Here I uploaded it for you ; http://www.speedyshare.com/347214661.html I guess that is it. I hope it works for you. Try those and come let me know if this config works for you.
