GGF.SquallStrife
You connecting the modem by USB or Ethernet? Ethernet woud be your best bet, as there'd be no drivers involved. See if you can set up your modem as a router, so it handles the PPPoA for you, then all your computer needs to do is obtain an address from the modem, and you're away... I configured my Billion 711CE in this fashion, and it works with Windows, Linux, OS9, OSX, etc... MarcConnor
I'm connecting the modem using USB. How would I be able to do it with ethernet or as a router? GGF.SquallStrife
Im asssuming your speedtouch was provided by your ISP? They should have provided you with a guide to Ethernet/USB setups... or be able to help you do it over the phone. Basically you hook your modem up to your computer with a network cable rather than a USB cable, and the modem makes the connection to the ISP, rather than your Computer. I cant step you through doing that as I dont have a speedtouch modem.
