I hope this is the right forum.

I have managed to install iPC 10.5.6 Final ppf5

The only weird issue is that my ps/2 keyboard does not work even though I installed the keyboard fix during installation from the customize menu. USB mouse works perfectly.

The keyboard did not work during installation also.

I tried going into

boot: -s

But -s

shows this error

if you wish to boot the system:

exit

:/root # ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure

I have no firewire divices nor does my BIOS show anything for FIREWIRE.

ALSO

It only loads mac osx when I type -v -f

If I try only -v or only -x or any other combo, it hangs permanently at

:/root # ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure

when i type -v -f at the boot: menu, everthing loads and then

configd[31]: InterfaceNamer : no network interfaces, could not update platform UUID

It hangs at this step for 10 mins and then starts up with the welcome screen saying Before you begin.

Please connect a keyboard

I tried reconnecting the keyboard.

I have vista installed in another drive and can boot to vista perfectly.

Is there some way to fix the keyboard error from vista.

The keyboard is a ps/2 keyboard and I have installed the ps/2 keyboard fix from the customize menu from the disc

I don't mind waiting 10 mins for mac to boot up, but am crippled without a keyboard.

The CODEBOX are too large and I don't know how to make them smaller
