KaptenKresh
Hey! I just managed to get my iAtkos v7 release perfectly installed with all drivers working. However, aprox.10min after i started the system, everything is getting VERY laggy. The CPU meter in activity monitor is going red all the time, and just moving around finder-windows takes up 30% CPU. Writing this topic is laggy like hell, and activity monitor says firefox is using 98% of the CPU. This is really annoying since i can't work in logic... I didn't have this problem with my old install(LEO4all, 10.5.4) System specs: MB: Gigabyte GA55 (I think) CPU: AMD Athlon X2 4000+ (Running Voodoo Kernel 9.7.0, tried the 9.5.0 aswell) 2GB random RAM Gigabyte radeon x1550 Thanks in advance! KaptenKresh
Hm i forgot to add, if i check the "About this Mac" It says the processor is a Intel Core Duo... Could that have something to do with my problem? Beerkex'd
That's expected, read the Voodoo Kernel manual (maybe you'll find some other useful tips in there): http://code.google.com/p/xnu-dev/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/184139-cpu-overloading-need-help/#findComment-1252124 Share on other sites
