vbxeric Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 Hi i can boot my installation of snow leopard with these kext : AppleIntelPIIATA Fakesmc JmicronATA NullCPUPowerManagement OpenHaltRestart PlatformUUID SleepEnabler I have a p5K and a 8800GTS 512Mo The system boot only by using -x flag i can run the os about 1 mn and a KP happens never for the same reason. One was Safari, another IOHIDFamily.... I don't know what can i do to fix that issue. afiser Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 repair permissions as soon as it boots. should fix the problem. this is a side effect of using leopard or similar and installing via the OSInstall.mpkg. a way around this is to restore the dvd to a partition and boot that partition and use it to install.
