sensimeon Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 I am running an asus p5b deluxe on ideneb 10.5.7 and everything seems to be working great, I have audio, internet, and full graphic support. It even boots up hella fast. The only problem is my xbench scores are horrific. If i try to do any serious photoshop work my copmuter crsahes. My usb read/write times are quadrupled. transfering a gig takes 10 mins!!! In my system prefrences, the hard drive shows up in the Intel ICH8-R AHCI section, I thought this board had ICH-9, perhaps thats a problem? There are two JMicron AHCI that have no drives. I'll hook the drive up to those and see what I get... jonnyme Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Hi mate i have a asus p5b-deluxe two but i recently instaled the 10.5.6 ideneb but i get the waiting for root device error and a kinda fix that and now i have the restart screen when i boot. Can u tell me what optios in costumize you picked? and in the bios have you change anything for the hard drives? i have a ide and a sata one.
