I have a GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard, 9800GT graphics and E5200 Pentium Dual core. What area do you need help with? I have a guide I made for the 945GZ, in the first section I go over how to make a vanilla OS. I recommend making a Vanilla OS and cloning it so that you can always go back to the original if you bork something. My attempt to install from the USB or Retail CD did not work two weeks ago. I believe it was still too early and there were not enough knowledge on my part to understand this method. For some reason my Installer would kernel panic right after it started to install. My workaround was to make a new vanilla OS from Leopard and got myself patched. I soon discovered there were permission issues and this was because I installed Snow Leopard from Leopard. Once I created a Vanilla Snow from Snow, patched it, etc. I was up and running in no time. The last part I just figured out last night was the ALC888 sound. If you want boot from a USB, try this: [Guide] Boot Retail Snow Leopard DVD + USB PC_EFI 10.2 If you want to install straight from Leopard: [How-To] Install Snow Leopard on a PC These two guides will work in patching the OS for your board and sound: [GUIDE]Retail Snow Leopard 10.6 on a GA EP45-UD3R, UPDATED TO v1.25! USB Install Method! Bonjour Fix! 100% What method works best for ALC888 sound....?, voodohda, efi strings, or tarugas patch Let me know what I can do to help.
