[GUIDE] Installing Snow Leopard on ECS 945GZT-M v1.0, (may work for other 945GZ chipsets) Don´t work for me. I have now a kernel panic when system start. Uptown_J
Don´t work for me. I have now a kernel panic when system start. I am really sorry - I posted the wrong link. You are clearly on the P45 chipset which is completely different than the 945GZ [GUIDE] How to install SL 10.6 on Abit IP35-Pro I have a Gigabyte EP45-UD3L motherboard. Are you using the usb keyboard and mouse or PS2? You may need the VoodooPS2.kext if you use a PS2 keyboard. Otherwise it sounds like the USB UHCI may not be loading. Maybe the dsdt patch would work. Again sorry for the mispost. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183583-snow-leopard-on-dp45sg-mobo-help-please/#findComment-1248177 Share on other sites
enb14
For this motherboard to detect your USB devices on Snow Leopard you need a fully working DSDT.aml Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183583-snow-leopard-on-dp45sg-mobo-help-please/#findComment-1248234 Share on other sites

J Lamp
You probably have Legacy USB support turned on in the Bios. Try adding this to your com.apple.boot.plist <key>USBBusFix</key> <string>Yes</string> Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183583-snow-leopard-on-dp45sg-mobo-help-please/#findComment-1250471 Share on other sites
