LonelyTV
I've updated my computer to Snow Leopard and since the update at boot I get a "kernel Assertion failed" error. The error scrolls for about 20-30 seconds before booting into Leopard. Nothing seems to be wrong when it boots into the OS, however it does add unwanted boot time. Anyone have any clue what is the cause of this? kernel Assertion failed: file "/SourceCache/AirPortDriverBrcm4311/AirPortDriverBrcm4311-410.91.20/src/shared/macosx_osl.cpp", line 936: mbuf_flags(m) & MBUF_PKTHDR
TheIronYuppie
Just installed Snow Leo here and I'm getting the exact same error, line number and all. Asus P5WDH using a Broadcom WiFi Card to get native AirPort. (WiFi card on the board sucks)
SergeyM
One more here with exact and similar problem, everything just as in previous two posts. Wi-Fi card from Motorola with Broadcom chipset, motherboard is ASUS P5K WS. I also have noticed that the more you use your OS the more lines you get in console and the longer it takes to load to desktop. Any ideas?
