Vardy
Hi all Strange thing - every now and again Time Machine crashes for no (apparent) reason - backup just fails and I can't restart it. Message: "Time Machine Error. Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup directory" I have noticed that sometimes when this happens, System Preferences also crashes (stays on and can't Force Quit). Is there some correlation here? Any help would be appreciated, even to just try to understand why Time Machine crashes the way it does - am rather new at this (ex Windows user). My platform is Kalyway 10.5.2, running on Asus P5GZ-MX Chipset with Pentium D 3.2gb and 4gb Ram... Vardy
Anyone? Or anyone know of a post with a fix? I believe this is a bit different to other TM problems because it just happens randomly Cheers Andrew Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183518-time-machine-system-preferences-crashes/#findComment-1256725 Share on other sites
