foxglove9
I just installed Leopard 10.5.7 on my HP Mini using this excellent guide found here: iDeneb 1.3 on an HP Mini 110 The netbook is running great but when I check About This Mac is says my processor speed is 1.75 GHz, when really my processor is only 1.66 Ghz. I also notice the fans are pretty loud. I realized something was off because I installed OS X 10.5.5 on another HP mini 110 a while back but used a different method. The fans aren't as loud on that machine and it reads as 1.66 Ghz in the profiler. So I'm wondering is it safe to run the Atom that fast? Is anyone else getting the faster clock speed? Can I clock it back down somehow? Also, is it safe to enable Dual Core as the install instructions state? I'm not much of an expert with this stuff I just follow guides step by step and hope for the best. Thanks. I have the HP Mini 110 Mi. N280 1.66 Ghz. Bios = F.07. 1 GB Ram.
