GPU and Resolution issue

hello,

 

i got snow leo running on my notebook.

now i have one main issue left, my graphics card (a nvidia 7950GTX) gets recogized as a ATI radeon HD 4890.. is this normal? i used the EVOenabler.kext

with this driver i get some kind of hardware acceleration, (windows move faster ecc.)

but also my display resolution is limited to 1024x768 instead of the native resolution of 1440x900

 

any ideas?

 

i assume im running the snowpard in 64bit (uname -v says: RELEASE X86_64)
