TheHumphries
Wondering it anyone has used or is using any varition of OSX86 on a shuttle X200. Would be a great Mac HTPC! If you have had any experience with any of the hardware/chipsets used on the X200, let me know! Might purchase one of these. Go for a ATOM/NVIDIA ION-Chipset board, like from zotac or ASrock, these together with ubuntu and xbmc scream in 1080p, and they are cheap too! I build my htpc with a zotac board and a very well looking lian-li case, it's one of the best combos for an hptc these days. OsX86 seems not to work with these, or only halfway, but why bother if you can have anything with Linux. The system got "Five Eggs" from NewEgg.com. http://global.shuttle.com/awards_detail.jsp?award_id=1078 I bought a similar compact PC from NewEgg (MSI CS120 NetTop). The system has similar form factor and low power. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...Tpk=msi%20cs120 I was able to use the same DVD Image (MSIWindOSx86.iso) to install the OS on this computer. I'm going to try Snow Leopard (Retail) soon. TheHumphries
Let me rephrase, slightly. I can get this for extremely cheap (sub $100) and was just looking for some advice from those who might have experience using it. Thanks.
