But I will keep posting until somebody gives me an answer. I have been searching frantically for a solution to this and I wanna know if i can run OSX on my laptop. I've tried every distro imaginable. iDeneb 1.3 1.4 1.6, Kalyway 10.5.2, iPC 10.5.6, JaS 10.4.8. Everytime i get the same {censored} kernel panic. I haven't installed yet and when i boot to any of these CD's i get an APIC kernel pnaic. Can someone tell me what the hell i can do? panic(cpu 0 caller 0x001AFF42): "Local APIC error\n"@volumes/disk1s2/leo_xnu/xnu-1228/osfmk/i386/mp.c:683 I haven't modded my bios at all except set it to boot to dvd. Here are the specs.
