verdant
Ok I will do it, I was reinstalling Leopard when I saw a lot of different kernel. The sleep kernel is the one I had before I reinstall it, I tried kabyl, so now I reinstall it again and again with the sleep one, but if you think there is a kernel that match better with my computer, tell me Thanks, I will keep you informed Voodoo 9.7.0 or 9.5.0 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183082-which-version-for-my-pc/page/2/#findComment-1251428 Share on other sites
Fhurax
I did what you tell me. So i have install Leopard with the sleep kernel, I have install then voodoo 9.5 one, network driver, nfortceATA driver, IOPSB family, I didn't install DSDT Patcher, but I have edit the com.apple.boot.plist file and I used v debug=0x144 under Kernel Flags. I forgot to watch if mach_kernel.voodoo is present. And this is the same, when I reboot, I'e got the problem. I think it come from chameleon, is it really important ? I can install the DSDT patch without it I guess. Thanks, I am reinstalling again Leopard, and this time I will install all what I had installed whithout Chameleon and with the DSDT Patcher in the /root folder, we will see what it will give to me See ya Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183082-which-version-for-my-pc/page/2/#findComment-1251616 Share on other sites
Fhurax
Finally it works ! I just had reinstalled, and the only difference beetween when I had reinstalled just before is that I do not install Chameleon (but it was not the freeze problem), and I have not install any kext for my USB and I have not install the AppleNForceATA, because I installed it in the Leopard installation. I think it was just a conflict, because I installed this file in the Leopard installation AND then with the kext file, but now it perfectly work, I have all what I want and whithout any bug, thanks to you Verdant, I think I could not do anything without your precious help ! Thanks again !! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183082-which-version-for-my-pc/page/2/#findComment-1251826 Share on other sites
