SUNEXPERTXP Posted May 25, 2006 Share Posted May 25, 2006 hey my friend installed mac os 10.4.5 on my laptop. I got only one hard drive and he partitioned 60 gb for the mac os installation, and it installed fine, and then he partitioned the remaining for xp, and xp was installed, etc. Now i dont see the dual boot menu on startup and also i did follow the instructions on getting the chain0 file, editing boot.ini, etc. One thing is that my hard drive is labelled E not C. Another thing is that when i save the boot.ini file, i dont see it on my system config utility. I really need help as my friend is away for 2 months and he has the mac os 10.4.5 dvd with him.
