Salve ragazzi, volevo sapere se e' possibile installare una retail di leopard su questo pc, la configurazione e' la seguente:

 

ACER Aspire X1700:

 

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200 @ 2.2GHz

RAM: 3GB DDRII-800

HDD: 320 SATA

Chipset: nForce 630i/GeForce7100

VGA1: Integrata GeForce 7100

VGA2: PCIEx GeForce 9500GT 1024MB

Audio: Realtek HD Audio ALC888/1200

 

Che dite ce la farà a far partire la retail? O magari anke a far partire Snow Leopard??

Purtroppo ho dei problemi...Ho appena finito di installare iDeneb con il kernel vanilla 9.7.0, avvio con la flag -v e mi si blocca al mac framework...E ho anche notato che si è attivata la modalità a 64bit...sapete come si disattiva?? ho il chameleon 1..Cmq stessa cosa accadeva col chameleon RC2...qualche soluzione?

con la ideneb ho il tuo stesso identico problema.Mi parte in 64 e si blocca lì al framework.Se risolvi fammi un fischio ;)

ho provato...ma niente, mi si blocca sempre l“...

Ma se avvio da DVD con le flag -v rd=disk0s1 mi si avvia, ma appaiono degli errori su dei kext NV50 o simile...

Qualche soluzione?

Avviando da DVD, sono riuscito a fare la DSDT Patch...Dopo aver effettuato questa patch, il mac partiva da HDD, non bloccandosi piu' al framework, ma mi dava un kernel panic con la IOUSBFamily.kext, allora l'ho sostituito con uno compatibile con il mio chipset nforce, e si avvia...Adesso un altro problema, quando avvio da hard disk, dopo che ha caricato il tutto, lo schermo diventa nero...Ho disabilitato la scheda video integrata (Geforce 7100), e niente...Ho installato i kext nvinject 1GB e niente...Provo ad avviare in safe mode e fa sempre lo stesso difetto...come posso risolvere?? Solo da DVD riesco ad avviare tranquillamente...

I was looking to install Snow Leopard on a Aspire X1700 and came here.

 

When i was reading this post i saw you where struggling with the retail installation i thought maybe i can help you a little.

Sorry for my poor English but i have almost the same system, only i have a quad core and a gforce 9300 GE I belief.

 

Its not the retail version, and maybe you already have this working but i just want you to know that leopard is working good with the AitkosV7 distro.

Also with this DSDT file all my core's are working with AitkosV7 i only had 2 cores working.

Ho aggiornato alla 10.5.8, e va alla grande! Ma uso solo un core (cpus=1)...

Qualche soluzione??

Sorry forgot something...

I used this DSDT.aml in the root from the system.

Please be careful to use this, i found it on google and is written for 4 cores, i realy dont know if this also work for 2 cores.

Anyway, i wish you luck with tht DSDT file.
