Hello, I couldn't find anything on the subject so I thought I would start yet another thread. After much struggle I got iPC 10.5.6 running on my dad's old beater Dell laptop. Here are the specs:

Dell Latitude D410

Chip: Intel Pentium M 1.60 GHz

RAM: 1.24 Gigs

Graphics: Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS 910 GML express chipset

Sound: Sigmatel C-Major Audio

Ethernet: Boradcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit controller

Wireless: Dell Wireless 1450 Dual Band WLAN Mini-PC Card

OS: iPC 10.5.6

I just got the project moving and finished the installation of the OS. Everything is working as it should although I came across an error when I was trying to run World of Warcraft. When I try to run the game a black screen pops up as though it were trying to load the initial cinematic. Then the window closes and a window pops up saying, "World of Warcraft could not start 3D acceleration". Mind you, I had WoW running on the very same laptop the day before. I do however remember having to download a DirectX 9.0c driver before it would load, it was doing the same thing. What do you think my problem may be? I'm thinking since I can't use the DirectX 9.0c driver because it's licensed to Microsoft that maybe an OpenGL driver would work? I can't find anything and have been looking for quite a while. Any and all help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Fred

I tried what I soon found out was a "No-No", I installed the recent Mac update. After the installation of the patch it would no longer boot up the OS at all. I am now back to square one with the problem. Any help will be appreciated!
