David Schlüter
Is there anyway to increase the view distance on the mac version? For example on the pc version when you walk along the beach you can see the land on the otherside and going out of the cave you can see the train bridge with a train crossing it. On the mac, using the cider version you don't see any of that. And to all the HL2 fans, Black Mesa will be out this year. Black Mesa is Half-Life 1, but a remake using HL2 source, good for me since I never played it, tried on mac, but the sound played like 3 times faster then it should so I gave up. Here is the side http://www.blackmesasource.com/ . If its the same engine as HL2 then ciderizing should be no problem, but episode 2 was never solved with them graphic issues, thats the only HL2 cider I don't have or use. Summary: 1 How do you increase the viewing distance of Half-Life 2. 2 Black Mesa will be out this year. David
BartNijland
This is because the ported Mac version (CIDER/Crossover) can't handle DX9 (yet).
