ropeandladder Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Well you see, I have a Toshiba Laptop that i would really like to get a working distribution of osx86 on. It has great specs (detailed below) and I cant seem to get it osx86 to run. I have tried a few distributions already. With iATKOS-v7, it installed smoothly, but when it came to boot, it booted up into a black screen with only a mouse pointer. Keyboard didnt do anything at all at this stage. iPC wouldnt even boot from the install disk. When it came to install iPC, i got the apple logo in the center of the screen, with the "NO" symbol above the loading circle thing. Could someone please tell me what the best distro of osx86 would be for my laptop: Toshiba A350-01n Intel Core2Duo 2.0GHz 64-bit ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 512mb Realtek HD Audio 4.0 GB Ram DDR2 Intel WiFi Link 5100 (im aware there arent any kexts available for this yet) Toshiba Bluetooth 2.0 Realtek RTL8102E Ethernet All help is appreciated.
