Fearsoldier
I have always been a Windows user and never really got into Macs. I would really like to get a solid installation to play around with a few things. I have downloaded two VMWare images and one works extremely slow and I can't install anything, it's just all screwed up and the other just won't boot. I am looking for assistance in installing, from scratch, a 10.5.x version of OS X either on a VMWare virtual machine or on a dual boot setup on my computer. I have access to multiple drives for booting if it makes things easier, I posted a link below to a benchmark site to show the specs of my hardware. http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/160888 I am extremely lost in all of this and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/182320-need-help-installing-a-105-version-of-mac-vmware-or-dual-boot/ Share on other sites

Fearsoldier
Can no one help me out with this? I would really love to do this but I'm not sure how. I downloaded Kalaways 10.5.2 and tried starting it up in a VM but it hung at the default apple background screen with the loading cursor for about 12 hours before I turned it off.
