Allan Ellard Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 I have a Dell Dimension 8300 P4 3Ghz Northwood with 3 Gig Ram - SSE2 Dell OW2562 motherboard NVIDA FX 5200 Video Broadcom and Intel Pr/100 Ethernet I have been trying to install iDened 1.5 and iAktosv7 I have tried various selections with the setups but not quite got it working. I have set a disk up for duel booting - with two partitions as instructed, xp on 1 which works fine Leopard on the other iDeneb installed, Chaneleon seems to work and gives me the option to choose Mac disk or XP, but then after a few minutes of spinning wait symbol I get the STOP sign, which I think means it cannot find the disk. With iAktos I get an install, but on boot it just shuts off and starts again, over and over. What am I missing? I have tried various selections from various posts but this is not working yet? climbd Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 I'm having the same issue (continuous reboot) on a Dell 400sc which is basically the same as the 8300 you have. post back if you find some settings that work. I don't have any partitions set up -- just OSX86...
