I'm planning on building a budget PC, and I mean a budget PC. Like the cheapest I can make. I have a couple of questions:

-Could 10.5 run on a celeron or pentium dual core processor?

-What is the ideal motherboard for 10.5, under US$50?

Thanks.

This setup has been proven to cheap, blazingly fast for the price, and easy to install retail osx on. (I'm running a variation of it myself.)

- Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2l (Great support, easy overclocking options,...)

- Intel E5200 (Great price, and best of all: great overclocker. It does 3,5Ghz on the stock-cooler, and with upgraded cooling, you can easily push it to 4Ghz.)

- Any decent 2X2GB Ram kit

- Any 3,5" S-ata 7200RPM hard disk in your capacity of choice.

- Gigabyte 7200GS (Great support, and digital and analog output, so all you need in a budget pc.)

- Cheap but somewhat decent case + >300w PSU

- Decent DVD-RW S-ata drive

In europe you can get a similar setup for around €250 if you shop around on the internet.
