Anur
So I got Intel celeron M laptop without DVD drive, look's like I can install only 10.4.1 but cann't update. Is it possible to install on some other comp and do some procedure like for 10.4.1 was done? I mean produce something like tiger-x86-flat.img, but for 10.4.6. Thanks in advance PS I'm using Banias processor Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18215-install-1046-without-dvd-drive/ Share on other sites
munky
You could install it via VMWare in windows, using an ISO image. Though remember to use Daemon Tools to mount the ISO - VMWare's own ISO mounting has problems with OS X disc images. munky
really? can you point me in the direction of that info? did you try adding the PAE parameter to the VMWare config? you'll have to search to find the details. i think PAE might be a requirement for running native (though I thought it had been solved?) anyone?
