So I got Intel celeron M laptop without DVD drive, look's like I can install only 10.4.1 but cann't update. Is it possible to install on some other comp and do some procedure like for 10.4.1 was done? I mean produce something like tiger-x86-flat.img, but for 10.4.6.

Thanks in advance

PS I'm using Banias processor

You could install it via VMWare in windows, using an ISO image. Though remember to use Daemon Tools to mount the ISO - VMWare's own ISO mounting has problems with OS X disc images.

I tried :) I got PAE problem and for my Banias processor acording to forum it's imposible to use VMware install...

really? can you point me in the direction of that info?

did you try adding the PAE parameter to the VMWare config? you'll have to search to find the details. i think PAE might be a requirement for running native (though I thought it had been solved?)

anyone?

To munky ..

Yes I enabled PAE in all ini's but no luck.

here is i found some info

so now the qestion is it possible to find some way around by instaling 10.4.6 on PAE mashine (VMware) and copy disk mirrow to my laptop? what kind of problems can I face with?

or I can try ti setup PXE lan boot from DVD image, like for FreeBSD it could be done... but it sound like _very_ way around :))) or some body have any guides?
