Technobob Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 If you want your Windows machines to connect to Mac you need to turn on Windows Sharing it's found in the System Preferences under Sharing. To connect to a Windows share you need to while in Finder click Go>Connect to Server then type smb://user:pass@IP/share name then select connect or you can just type smb://IP Then you will prompted to enter user and pass then you can select what ever share you have setup. If that does not work then you may have a problem with Samba.
