vincetan Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 Hi everyone, I have a sony vaio tz37 - intel gma945 chipset , gma950 graphics adapter. the native resolution is 1366x768. but i can only get it to display at best 1280 x 768 so far. i m using the ipc 10.5.6 method which someone here posted successfully installed on their vaio tz i tried these 1. set bios to stretch 2. neos kext file - both replacing all the files provided AND replacing only the appleintelgratedframebuffer.kext 3. switchresx and the other app too - dont think this is the way either so far none of the above works for me. hopefully someone can help out here... i m this close to using mac... hhehee.... thanks a bunch Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/181911-sony-vaio-tz37-cant-display-native-resolution/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am using 10.5.6 iPC Universal PPF5 Final However, I always get kernel panic: (THIS SCREEN IF I DID NOT PRESS F8) (THIS SCREEN IF I PRESS F8 AND -V) Had 2 previous successfull attempt with my desktop pc and my twinhead notebook. This Vaio TZ gave me headache. What should I do?? I badly wanted an osx for my TZ.... Can you help me please ?
