Melder27
Hello. I'm having a problem installing osx86 on my machine. I'm using iDeneb v1.5 10.5.7. The install DVD boots fine with no flags needed, however when I go to the disk utility to format and partition the drive, none of the SATA drives are on the list. If I install an IDE drive I am able to format and partition it just fine, but not a SATA drive. In the BIOS setup, all the drives appear to be recognized normally. I've tried disabling the 32bit data transfer in the BIOS but still nothing. Should I boot with a different kernel? Should I force a different chipset driver somehow? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/181868-no-sata-durring-install/ Share on other sites
