rekursor
Hi, I spent quit some time trying to figure out how I could get the sleep working again in 10.5.8 without restoring the previous 10.5.7 kernel and without CPU heating problem (+10 degree approx.) I found methods in this forum to remove disabler.kext and successfully did it but then faced the cpu overheating problem. I am also aware of Kabyl new disabler.kext variant, but would like to keep the newest 10.5.8 kernel if possible ? Any thoughts ? TIA
rekursor
Found the solution: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1223952 I installed SleepEnabler.kext (and so kept Disabler.kext as found in iDeneb 10.5.8 update) and SHAZAM ! it works! My config is now: Mac OS X iDeneb updated to 10.5.8 with Chameleon 2RC2 and dsdt.aml override, psystar R1000 network driver, OpenHaltRestart.kext on GA-EP45-DS3L/Core2DUO E8400/ATI RADEON HD 2600XT All working fine ! Hope this will help others having the same problem.
