AUAnonymous Posted August 24, 2009 Share Posted August 24, 2009 I have tried to install Leopard using multiple different distros and none of them have been able to boot after installation. From what I've read it seems like I need a modded bios, but I have not been able to find one for the P5Q SE2. My System Specs: CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 Mobo: ASUS P5Q SE2 RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) OCZ HPC Reaper DDR2 800 HDD: Maxtor 300GB SATA I would really appreciate some help! UPDATE: I've been able to boot fully using -x (safe mode) plus I enable the cpus=1 fix during the installation (iPC 10.5.6 PPF5) so I guess you could say I've used that as well.
