Why So Serious?
First, my computer specs: Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz E7400 250GB IDE HD IDE DVD Drive 3GB DDR2 RAM Nvidia GeForce 8500GT Okay, I successfully installed Leopard on my PC after using iAtkos V7. I installed it on a MBR partition on my HD and chose all the Nvidia drivers in Customize except for the 200 model drivers. It installed successfully and when I rebooted it went into Leopard and I completed the registration and all that. When I made it to the desktop, I got an error message that said something didn't install properly. I forget what it said..I told my brother but we both forget..(stupid google chat..doesn't have history)..But anyway, I went to change the resolution and the only option was 1024x768. I need it at 1920x1080. Then a software update message came up so I installed that stuff and rebooted. But now when I try to start it up, the gray Apple screen will just come up with the message that says you need to restart. Restarting doesn't actually help at all. When I run it in verbose mode, I get a lot of messages about the display and the model family not being able to be identified..something like that. And then messages that say stuff about Titan: Determining video card..Titan: Found..Titan: All set, cross your fingers (forget if that's all the right text). Then it'll just stop there. Sometimes there's other messages..But anyway, I have no idea what to do. I'm guessing it has something to do with my graphics card but I have no idea how to add/delete kext or anything of that. I've heard of EFIstudio but I don't know how you use it at all. Seriously, I don't know what it is, where you run it, how you run it, or when you run it. So if someone could please give me a detailed explanation of what to do, that would be great. I downloaded EFIstudio and the 9F23 package on my other computer..I don't know what to do when them at all..I just think I need them for something because I was trying to follow this: LINK. I couldn't really get 2 or 3. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
