jcafaro10
I managed to get a working install of leopard on an external hard drive which I can boot from on my Dell Inspiron 1420. I haven't been able to get the audio to work. I've followed the information here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83039 and downloaded the kext file, stuck it in the System\Library\Extensions folder, overwriting the old AppleHDA.kext file and deleting the AppleAzalia.kex. I repaired my permissions/restarted and sound doesn't work from the speakers or from the headphone jack. In fact, most of the sound features like volume etc. are grayed out. How can I get sound on this? I'm using iAtkos 5 with vanilla kernel.
