kup
As it says people, I've got a 10.5.8 install that runs 100% fine and vanilla on my Core2 VMware install, but copying it over to my Core i7 causes Kernal Panics. I've also tried fresh installs, fine on the Core2, panics on the i7. Anyone know any solutions or experienced similar? kup
Right, I've got it booting a bit further... -v -x busratio=20 cpus=1 mach_970 from an iAtkos v7 disc will actually get to the installer screen. But then the mouse is dead and I can't control anything. couldn't alloc class "ApplePS2Mouse" This is the error and cause of my panic if I remove the safemode switch. kup
Anyone? EDIT: It restores from a Snapshot fine, runs 100% fine but won't then reboot without a kernel panic. Even the mouse works in the Snapshot method.
