tantan
i have my osx running on apple raid0, everything works until here. but then i wanted to add ethernet efi strings for the timemachine fix and realized that it doesnt work, no matter in which boot.plist i insert it. there are 3 boot plists on my system : the main in lib / pref / sysconfig and the 2 in the invisible BootOsx partition. i have the impression that the boot.plist in the bootosx partition is just a mirror file of the system with the addition of the root uuid to reference to the right hdd. so it would seem that making changes in bootosx isnt a good idea but rather doing it at the source in L/P/SC. for a test i added "theme = bullet" to the boot.plist but the boottheme remains the old one. in desperation i deleted the 3 boot.plists (thinking there must be a hidden one somewhere) but of course the raid just didnt boot anymore. i also copied an Extra folder to my boot hdd (got it from a non raid chameleon install) but this didnt change anything neither. i read something funny about rock scissor paper boot volumes and i saw my bootosx partition playing this game indeed, the foldername changed from .R to .S and also to .P once but i dont understand how this could be related to my problem.
