johnniecarcinogen Posted August 24, 2009 Share Posted August 24, 2009 If it is unlocked you can use a non at&t (or whatever wireless service Apple wants you to use in your respective country) sim card and the stock apple os. The only hitch is that you may lose some minor service functions like the visual voice mail but the phone and apps will work fine. U.C. Posted August 24, 2009 Share Posted August 24, 2009 If you have 3g/3gs then just use redsn0w. It will only jailbreak. If its a 2g then just make sure to untick the unlock option in redsn0w.
