valerio09
Can someone help? The OS ins't loaded. Freezed screen. How much do I have to wait? The circle loader of the OS is also freezed. I have followed the instruction on page http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...le_And_Accurate I have got an Acer TravelMate 254LC_DT Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz Ram 2*256 MB I think it's a SSE2 system, watching trough the software CPU-Z, but I'm not sure (in the line of Instructions it's written "MMX, SSE, SSE2") Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/181225-freezed-screen-with-apple-logo-on-first-time-boot/ Share on other sites

valerio09
Ok them...What Distro ( version of leopard ) did u use? Boot with -V and tell us the last line Ok i did it, iGo! But there are hundreds of line! That i can't scroll.. If it doesn't load completely the OS maybe my last line becomes relative.. However my very last line is VGA: vram [e800000:0800000] I have installed the image of tiger-x86, if it could be useful.. Is there another way to get that information? I tried also with the boot code "platform=X86PC -v" The last line becomes display: vram [e800000:0800000] Under the line remains the white rettangle of loading(?) but the computer doesn't load anything after. valerio09
I used the function ketload with -t to view the report of my error line (VGA: family specific matching fails or display: family specific matching fails) Here is the report of kextload: kld(): Undefined symbols:-z20AppleACPIPlatformLogmPKcz kextload: a link/load error occurred for kernel extensions AppleACPIDisplay.kext I have to add that the system run in safe mode, loading the OS interface (with menu, ecc) but when i click anything appears the loading cursor and the OS it becomes un-usable. Please help (or tell me another simple way to install another distro at least!)
