ergot Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 hello At last my Nforce board successfully installed 1055, everything is working even WIFI !! except my network line (Ethernet) the chip on this board (as writing in the manual) is Marvell 88E1116 PHY, I have tried the Marvell packege drivers but with no help... anyone can guide me on how to install/find this driver? Thanks You need to run eno's nForceLAN 0.62.13n.pkg.zip installer for your onboard LAN......see here....also check that nvenet.kext has been removed or renamed to nvenet.kext.*....go to /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/..... (this is a new location. nvenet.kext was not in IONetworkingFamily.kext prior to 10.5.7). Apple's nvenet.kext causes a problem because it loads even when another Ethernet/LAN driver (kext) has already been loaded..... Check that apart from nForceLAN.kext that no other Ethernet type kexts are in /S/L/E....the nForceLAN installer should have removed forcedeth.kext and nForceEthernetController.kext but also check for nForceEthernet.kext...... ergot Posted August 24, 2009 Author Share Posted August 24, 2009 Thank you for your help, I was installing 1057 still no network but my issue is different now, i wanted to use macOSX as htpc with plex but from some reason the plex/xbmc is playing hd very slow on that machine...with vista/7 is working ok...dont know why...on my other pc using same release (no nforce board) everything is ok....ned to think on replacing this board...BTW my Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H Mobo refusing to take any release...
