Input is not working on VIA VT1708B (Motherboard Foxconn M61PMW)

Hi Everyone!

 

I installed iDeneb 1.6 Lite 10.5.8 on my PC. I have integrated VIA VT1708B soundcard and i used VoodooHDA. Output is working very well and i can play my MP3 files and so on but input is not working. I tested input with Audacity and Garage Band (iLife 09, Podcast) and it is not working. Previously i had ideneb 1.4 installed and it was the same. Input was not working.

 

I did a codec dump with Ubuntu 9.10 and i still have it but when i use AppleHDA Patcher it says "VIA codec is not supported" or something like that. But if somebody need codec dump just say and i will upload it.

 

Can somebody help me?

I have the same audio into my mobo and like you I tried whit AppleHDA patch but it's not supported. And I don't have input sound neither. I think there not are a kext that's really get work all the devices for the VT1708B.

hi friends! i have the same sound ""VT1708B" but the voodooHD not work for me!

 

My video card geforce 8200 not work. only can boot with "-x" (safe mode). on this mode load fine the other drivers? sound load fine? or not?

 

 

 

 

 

where I can download this voodoooHDA? I only tried idebeb1,5 and iatkosv7, of the ideneb1,6 is other voodooHDA?

Hola amigos, yo tengo el mismo audio pero a mi no me carga me sale un error. actualmente por no tener un driver compatible con mi placa de video necesito cargar leopard en modo seguro "-x" sera esta la causa para q el voodooHDA no cargue? o deberia cargar normalmente?

 

de todas formas le pido al creador del post que me pase el "Kext" para poder probarlo. saludos.
