After installing the iwi3945.kext and rebooting, the Applications "NetworkSelector" appears with the following menu options.

1) turn card on/off

2) start scan

5) close program

0) refresh

When reviewing this site: http://code.google.com/p/iwidarwin/wiki/NetworkSelector

I should be seeing this on my menu

1) Turn card off

2) Network List

3) Switch led

4) Change mode

5) Close Program

0) Refresh

Enter Option:

Problem - My NetworkSelector does not show all menu options.

Ifconfig command shows my wireless device as follows:

en0: flags=8863<up,broadcast,smart,running, simplex, multiciast> mtu 1500

ether 00:18:de:0d:d8:ad

media autoselect status: inactive

supported media: autoselect

Question:

1) how do I get all menu options in NetworkSelector

2) how do I configure my wireless settings so I can configure to use WPA & passprase, channel#....

my access point does NOT broadcast SSID*

Thank you!

The short story is, this card does not yet work on OS X. Those drivers are for testing only, and I believe, do not even connect to a network and are very unstable.

For driver progress, check these two links for two different projects:
