danieljohns Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 Hi guys... I'm having trouble enabling the APIC sata on BIOS. I dunno, maybe thats the reason im having error during boot. I tried to reinstall my windows xp but there's no option on bios enabling the sata to APIC mode Here's my specs: Core 2 duo E8400 MSI - G31M3 V. Card - Nvidia 8600GT 1gig 2 250gig Hdd Soundcard: Realtek PLease please do help me.... I dunno what to do.... Thanks... See here and here.....you need a modded BIOS...... danieljohns Posted August 23, 2009 Author Share Posted August 23, 2009 I was able to enable the ACPI. its in Power management. But still the error goes like this "Waiting for boot with volume UUID"? In BIOS can you set RAID mode to AHCI and also CPU Internal Thermal Control [AUTO] Limit CPUID MaxVal [DISABLED] Enhanced C1 (C1E) [DISABLED] Execute Disable Bit [ENABLED] Virtualization Technology [DISABLED] Does not appear to make a difference whether ENABLED or DISABLED.
