I've tried ideneb v1.3 and 1.5 also tried Kalyway 10.5.2 dvd intel/amd and none of them will install. essentially they're not seeing my hard drive. here are my laptops specs:

AMD Turon 64 X2 Mobile TL-58 1.9ghz cpu

160gig ATA hard drive

nForce 560 chipset mobo

right now the laptop is running vista and i hate it with a passion. I know that if you want to downgrade to xp on here you have to add a SATA driver to the xp iso to even install it so i'm assuming the same thing needs to be done here but i'm clueless as to how to do it or if something else could be wrong. I tried searching on here for others that may have installed on a dv2500 but either specific details weren't given or theres seemed to go off without a hitch so i must be doing something wrong. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.
