yioulas Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 I 've successfully installed ideneb 10.5.8 lite. Apart from the network everything works flawlessly. I am connected using applebcm440xethernet.kext included with ideneb. I stay connected for a while downloading torrents and surfing, and then it stops working. I tried different things I read but no luck yet. I also ordered a broadcom wireless card and I wonder if I will still have the same problem. HEEEEEELPPPP MEEEEEEE PLEAAAAAAASEEEE I can't get it off my mind. It would have been better if nothing worked. yioulas Posted August 22, 2009 Author Share Posted August 22, 2009 Here is some more information that might help. If I leave the connection idle it stays connected. If I am downloading torrents it stops responding after a while. In system preferences network the firewire connection is always disconnected although my firewire works. Also I noticed that in my preferences.plist and in networkinterfaces.plist my ethernet card i initiated several times. The same code keeps repeating. Any ideas? Could someone please just send me their preferences.plist and NetworkInterfaces.plist ?
