  1. wake from usb el capitan

Hi I've got an asus vivobook x541uak laptop. I managed to get everything I need to work. The last thing I did was fix sleep by removing all _PWR from the dsdt. This fixed sleep but it will only wake from the embedded laptop keyboard and not from usb keyboard and mouse. Btw I use usbinjectall.kext to configure all usb. My dsdt must be a mess I applied a lot of patches but I didn't spend much time on it. Is there an easy fix to get the laptop to wake from usb? I've attached my dsdt. DSDT.aml.zip
  2. Nope. The computer still restarts randomly while in sleep mode
  3. I went back to F5. All the issues are gone. I 'll stick to F5 . If F7 comes out I'll give it a shot.
  4. Clevo w870cu weird monitor issue

The weird thing is that it works with windows. There has to be a way to get it to work on mac.
  5. I also get an occational kernel panic I forgot to mention. But that's like 1 out of 20 times I restart. I almost never restart since I put it to sleep. Thanks again for getting back to me. Please let us know if you figure out better settings for clover (I'm also on Clover). I will give it a try to go back to F5 although I'm a bit scared in case something goes wrong. Thanks again!
  6. Hello Douga I have a question again :-) I am experiencing sudden unexpected restarts (rarely). When the computer restarts it takes a much longer until I see the initial Gigabyte bios image. Sometimes the computer wakes up from sleep (rarely again) and restarts on it's own. I think I didn't have this problems with the F5 bios version. They started when I upgraded to F6. Wake up on lan is disabled. Have you experienced anything like this? Here are my bios settings - Memory profile (XMP) = Profile1 - Turbo Boost Technology = Disabled - VT-d = disabled - Boot Mode Selection = Legacy only - XHCI Mode = Auto - Legacy USB support = Enabled - XHCI Hand-off = Enabled - EHCI Hand-off = Enabled - Turn on SATA-Mode to AHCI - Intel Thunderbolt Technology = Enabled (I used the windows driver method like you said) I've got an EVGA GT 740 SC installed as well. I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5
  7. Hp Probook 4720s DSDT

Okay I'll try to fix it then. Thanks again for fixing the error!!!
  8. Hp Probook 4720s DSDT

Got stuck at missing bluetooth controller transport...
  9. Hp Probook 4720s DSDT

    Thanks!!!
  10. Hp Probook 4720s DSDT

I'm sorry you are right that was from an acer pc. I've attached the correct dsdt now. I extracted it using AIDA64 version 3.0 on windows. Does that mean it's clean? There is always just 1 syntax error and it doesn't matter what I change in the dsdt. I can remove or add whole sections and I still get the same error. dsdt.aml.HP.zip
  11. Hp Probook 4720s DSDT

I'm trying to install El Capitan on an HP Probook 4720s. I can boot into the installer but the usb keyboard and mouse are not working. The optical mouse lazer turns off when the kernel starts loading and stays off when the installer boots so it's not receiving any power. Even my Ati 5570 works with injection when I boot the installer. I extracted my dsdt through windows with AIDA64 version 3. There is one syntax error which I can't fix. I am a noob at DSDT editing. If I could fix my usb's through DSDT I'm pretty sure it's gonna work with QE/CI. Can anyone help? That would be awesome. dsdt.aml.HP.zip
  12. acer 7720g sleeps only once

    Thanks for the info
  13. Clevo w870cu weird monitor issue

Unfortunately no. On top of that something is wrong with the motherboard of my laptop and the cpu fan won't spin at all (changed the fan). I need a new computer! :-(
  14. acer 7720g sleeps only once

Hi all I have an ACER 7720g working perfectly on yosemite. Everything works except sleep which works only once. It wakes up perfectly, but if it sleeps again the second time the screen goes black and the system is completely unresponsive. I tried to add the _PWR secrion below my EC0 device section like someone else did on an hp laptop who had the same issue. Doesn't work. Device (EC0) { Name (_HID, EisaId ("PNP0C09")) Name (_UID, One) Name (_GPE, 0x1C) Name (_PRW, Package (0x02) { 0x1E, 0x04 }) Method (_CRS, 0, NotSerialized) { Name (BFFR, ResourceTemplate () { IO (Decode16, 0x0062, // Range Minimum 0x0062, // Range Maximum 0x00, // Alignment 0x01, // Length ) IO (Decode16, 0x0066, // Range Minimum 0x0066, // Range Maximum 0x00, // Alignment 0x01, // Length ) }) Return (BFFR) } I don't really know what the numbers within the pwr section mean (0x1E, 0x04) How can sleep work perfectly the first time and not the second? I've been trying to figure it out for weeks. AppleLPC is loaded. My laptop only uses fakesmc.kext and voodoops2 for trackpad and keyboard. I use clover. Can someone take a look at my dsdt and give me a hint of advice? Thanks!!! dsdt.aml.zip
