taelmx Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 I'm not too knowledgeable about this extention, but I have searched here and on google for the kext and none of them work. I am currenly on Windows 7 until I can boot back into OSX. I am using MacDrive to get th right one again. I'm new to installing drivers, and I thought I backed something up, but I accidentally copied the downloaded kext as a backup, and then replaced it...so I have no working backup now... Anyway...I have a Gateway FX P-7805u and need AppleACPIPlatform.kext which is in "/System/Library/Extentions". I was running Leopard 10.5.8 before it kernel paniced at startup... Thank you!
