Ok Guys.....

I have Windows XP on the C drive, OSX on the F drive (usb hdd). When I boot into OSX everything works as it should. But when I restart and try to boot into windows, I get the "hal.dll" corruption error. I can go into Recovery console and rebuid the bootcfg file and then I can boot into XP.

Is there something that I may be able to do to avoid this process of having to go into the recovery console every time I switch from OSX to XP?

Dell 9200 dual core 1.8MGH

1GB Ram

Used deneb 10.5.6 install with appropriate setting via OSx86 guidelines.

I am going to try Chain0 later this afternoon.

Just looking for some more info...

I simply went into the BIOS and selected "Boot from USB" and OSX boots fine. When I select "Boot from HD" then I get the "hal.dll" corruption error.

I have tried several "boot" managers and they seem to do nothing on the seconde re-boot. Currently, I have the external usb hdd off line and am porting to an e-machine with osx 10.5.6 on it. Better the play with a new computer than screw the one the kids use.....
